Best Practices for Advertising on Facebook

Facebook Best Practices

Inviting your audience to engage with your post is crucial to Facebook success.  Commenting, liking, sharing, all of these will help boost your reach and add to your online credibility.

Use images

Photos get 53% more likes, 104% more comments and 84% more click-throughs compared to all text posts. When posting images try and keep the text short and sweet too.

Create engaging content

Write about timely topics that are relevant to your audience. Provide original content that will engage (and as mentioned add CTA’s and images!) and make note of what works and what doesn’t.

Check the time

Generally the best time to post to Facebook is in the morning, but you’ll have to experiment to find the best time for your content. Once you’ve found the right time try and be consistent with your posts… if nothing else you’ve found a slot that works, stick with it!

Keep a schedule

Obviously you should be ready to adapt to current events and news but you should keep a posting schedule so that your content is going up regularly and is ready in advance.

A content place would help with a lot of these points, luckily we have already written about that here.
